Privacy Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
mylistings.ph gives real estate agents in the Philippines a public page for their listings. This policy explains what we collect from agents who use it and from people who visit their pages, and how we handle it under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
1. What we collect from agents
- Account: your name, email address, and either a password (stored only as a one-way hash) or your Google sign-in.
- Your page: your page name, photo, headline, “Get to know you” text, and the contact details and social links you add. These are public by design: buyers see them on your page.
- Listings: titles, prices, descriptions, photos, video links, addresses and map pins. A listing’s exact pin stays private unless you turn on “Show exact location” for it; otherwise buyers see only the area.
- Sign-in: one-time codes we email you, and the session that keeps you signed in.
2. What we collect from visitors
Buyers don’t need an account. When someone opens an agent’s page or a listing, or taps a contact button, we count it:
- which page or button, and when;
- where the visit came from, as a broad source such as Facebook, Messenger, Google or a direct link.
We don’t store visitors’ IP addresses or names, and we don’t set cookies on visitors. An IP address is used for a moment to limit repeated counts from one device, and isn’t kept. Agents see these counts as totals.
3. How we use it
- to run your page and show your listings to buyers;
- to sign you in and keep your account secure;
- to show you how many people view your page and listings and how they reach you;
- to answer your questions and tell you about changes to the service;
- to prevent abuse and to meet legal obligations.
We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
4. Who else handles it
We use these services to run mylistings.ph. Each handles data only to provide its part:
- Cloudflare: hosting, photo storage, view counts and sign-in emails.
- Neon: our database.
- Google: sign-in with Google if you choose it, and finding a map pin from an address you type.
- OpenFreeMap: the map tiles on agent pages and listings, loaded by the visitor’s browser.
- YouTube: a listing’s video tour: its thumbnail loads with the listing, and the player only when a visitor taps play.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to prevent fraud or harm, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
5. Cookies
We use cookies only for signed-in agents: to keep you signed in, and to recognise your own browser so your visits to your own page aren’t counted. Visitors to agent pages get no cookies from us.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account, page and listings while your account is open. Daily view counts are kept as totals. When your account is deleted, we delete your personal data, except copies in backups, which expire on their own schedule, and anything the law requires us to keep.
7. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy;
- correct it; most of it you can edit yourself in your dashboard;
- ask us to delete your account and data;
- object to how we process it, or file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
To do any of these, email support@mylistings.ph.
8. Security
Connections are encrypted, passwords are hashed, and access to data is limited to what each part of the service needs. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we’ll tell you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. For significant changes, we’ll let agents know by email.
